Busy Times…

The last two weeks have been so hectic and busy.  I was on vacation the week of Sept. 20.  I had a blast.  Went to my sisters to see the “goat farm.” It was interesting.  Then on Monday-Wednesday we went to Myrtle Beach.  I LOVE Myrtle Beach.  We stayed at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa.  Beautiful Hotel and weather.  Wonderful shopping and times.  We came home Wednesday and spent the rest of the week visiting places around town.

Then as I was getting ready to leave the house on Saturday, the phone rang, and it was my manager.  He wanted me to go to Myrtle Beach Monday-Tuesday to help get things done for the new store.  WOOHOO.  Sure why not?  So for 2 days I was able to sit in the classroom and do nothing but crafts.  So fun.

Now Monday-Wednesday we had TERRIBLE weather on the east coast.  While in Myrtle Beach it rained all day Monday and some on Tuesday.  Came home to even more rain.  Wilmington, NC got over 20 inches of rain this week.

It’s been really hard getting back on schedule.  Been eating out too much, and my diet is seriously lacking vegetables.  So once again I am here talking about how I have to get back on plan, watch what I eat, etc.  Tonight before going to bed I am going to try to think of a list of dieting goals to accomplish this month, and tomorrow I will post them.

Now off to watch more One Tree Hill DVDs.  NIGHT ALL.

I’ve been to Hilton Head, but not Myrtle Beach before. It was funny, at my godmother’s 80th birthday this past June, she said “now I don’t want you just mingling with family, you need to mingle with my friends too!”

Let’s just say that my godmother is a bit of a social queen! I walked up to one of her friends, made polite conversation and asked “are you from Hilton Head originally?” She gave me a sweet smile back and said “Honey, no one is from Hilton Head!”

That still cracks me up! 😀

It’s tough to get back in the swing of things, but I am with you!

  2. I have never been to Hilton Head. I so need to add it to my list of places to go. Sounds like you had a lot of fun.

It is really hard to get back into the swing of things. GOOD LUCK!!!
