June Goals

So after reading Biz’s Blog this afternoon and her goals for June I decided that I need to make some goals of my own.

When I was “off” my diet I think I gained about 5 pounds and now that I am back on I really need to concentrate on losing the weight.

1. Be down to 170 by June 1 (that is about 6.1 pounds).

2.  Try to exercise.  Been looking online trying to find some exercises to do with hand weights.

3.  and (like Biz) drink less alcohol. (even though I really LOVE having a beer at night)

Hi, my name is Jamie. I am almost 37, single and really love to cook for my room-mates. Who happen to be my brother and sister. The brother is VERY picky, but the sister is like me and will try almost anything. I am on the quest to lose this weight once and for all.

Congrats on your goals! We can do it! And I am with you on the drink – I love having my wine! 😀

    Happy Saturday!

Oh… the irony of me reading this now… as I sip a beer.

I say allow yourself an ice cold brew once a week–like Friday nights (or whatever the beginning of your weekend is) to celebrate the end of a work week and ring in the weekend feeling relaxed.

The Women’s Health website has a great fitness site of exercises you can do at home. Here’s the link:

Also, as much as I hate them, lunges and squats are the best for legs and butt!

  3. lol…I have to try to limit myself to one beer a week…

Thanks for the link..I have to try to get up early so I can exercise..
