Really Trying…

I have been really “good” lately.  Writing down everything I eat, being really careful, and trying to cut down some of my trigger foods. 

The trigger foods that I am really concerned with are bread and chips. I eat bread with almost every meal, and some snacks. I also eat chips with at least 2 meals a day. I did measure the chips and made sure that I only ate one serving at a time but still.  So I have really tried to cut these two things down some.

Today I took my black bean burger at lunch and instead of bread I use a few leaves of lettuce.  YUM.  Also for the last two days instead of taking chips for lunch I have enjoyed some sliced cucumbers. 

So I am going to try to keep this up for rest of the week. I am going to have Sushi on Friday…lol…the thing with that is cutting down on the Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce.

I also have a new go to snack at night. I love making mini pizzas with corn tortillas. I can eat 2 shells for 1 point, add 8 slices of turkey pepperoni, spinach, a little tomato sauce (or paste), a slice of Sargento Cheese, mushrooms, onions, and anything else within reason. Two mini pizzas are just 3 points. I do not have a picture right now because I am hunkered down on the couch watching The Biggest Loser.

P.S. Even work has been pretty good the last few days. I have been in the break room doing totally fun things like Sand Art, painting wood frames, decorating baseball caps, all for storyboards at work. I LOVE IT. I get to do even more tomorrow. This is the great thing about being the Activities Coordinator at a Craft Store. Oh…and I am supposed to get the Cricut Cake machine in the next few days to do a demo on May 8. I can’t wait…so fun.
